Anatomy of a Good "No": Instead of saying "That's Not My Problem," say this
If you are struggling to say 'no' in the workplace, but need a script to do it ๐๐ผgracefully, try this:
You want to say:
"That's not my problem"
A nicer way to say the same thing is
๐ช๐ผ"I get that this is challenging" (๐ฆ๐ต๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐ต๐)
๐ช๐ผ"But this lies outside my area of expertise" (๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ ๐ฎ ๐ฏ๐ผ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐)
๐ช๐ผ"Let's work to find the right person to address this issue" (๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ ๐ฎ ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐น๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ)
